BUDDY BLAST

The restyled BUDDY BLAST surface emergency air-horn is more compact than its predecessor and packs an almighty punch with a huge 136 dB blast of attention-grabbing noise including its own low pressure hose to replace your standard BCD - LP hose
Use with appropriate care about where you are pointing it but the reality is you need never worry again about going unnoticed in a separated-from-the-boat situation.

No Buttons – Just Squeeze

The new Blast is designed so that divers can operate it easily with cold hands or gloves in an emergency. There are no tiny buttons to locate – you just grip the body of the unit and squeeze the spring-loaded halves together to activate.

The BLAST operates from a medium pressure hose and is designed to sit in-line between the hose and either of the two A.P.Valves – the AP200 inflator or the Auto Air octoinflator.

It has been designed specifically to work in conjunction with these valves and is the only air-horn on the market that can be used with the Auto Air without impeding its normal breathing operation.

The BLAST comes in three versions (as shown):
with Auto Air fitting
with AP200 fitting (N.B. this connector will also fit some other makes of inflator)
as a stand-alone unit

All three versions come with a 61cm (24”) medium pressure hose with a swivel connection so that the unit can be rotated to the ideal position.

The BLAST is also useful as an air-gun for filling SMBs or liftbags underwater.
